How does the move work?
Moving your site is a lot like moving to a new home. WebAzetas would pack up (backup) your files and database from your current host. Then, we would move them to your new host. Once you're settled into your new home and we've tested that everything is working properly, we would change your domain name servers (DNS) so that your Web site address (URL) points to your new host. This is like notifying the post office of your new address. Keep in mind that once your DNS is updated, it can take 48 to 72 hours for all of the Internet servers to update with your new address. Your site will be operational during that time period.
What services do you offer?
We specialize in moving Web sites running Drupal, Joomla!, Wordpress, and CiviCRM. Since these sites involve database migrations, they can be more complex than simply moving Web site files. Contact us for a quote if you're running something different.
How long does it take?
We can move simple HTML Web sites and point them to the new server typically within a couple of hours. Larger database-backed sites (Drupal, Joomla!, Wordpress, and CiviCRM) can take more time and require more steps. On average, we can have your site migrated, restored, tested, synchronized and 'live' at your new server within 2 days of your approval to proceed (keeping in mind that DNS updates can take up to an additional 3 days to complete).
I want to move my site, but I'm not sure where. Do you have any recommendations?
WebAzetas offer hosting through our sister site, Social Mission Web Host. Let us know if you want to move your site there on the order form. Our goal is for you to be happy with your hosting. So, you can let us know where you want to host.

Can you move my site without my current host knowing that I'm leaving them?
In most cases, we can move your site without alerting your current Web host until we're at the final stage of the move. If a situation arises where we would need to contact your current host, we would get your approval before doing this.
I'm concerned about giving you my confidential passwords, content, client lists, etc.? Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement?
Yes, here at WebAzetas we believe in confidentiality. When you request and pay for your move, we ask for minimal information. After checkout, we provide a non-disclosure agreement that you can sign. Then, we will be notified so that we can sign it too.
Once you checkout, you will have the opportunity to log in and enter your Web site details. You can rest assured that usernames, passwords, client lists, content, designs, images, email addresses, and other business-sensitive data will not be disclosed or used in any way other than what's needed to move your site.
PRICING
How can I pay for the move?
During checkout, you'll have the option to pay via PayPal. If you wish to pay via company check, please send it to VelaMira, Inc., P.O. Box 15361, Rio Rancho, NM 87174. Please note that we must wait until the check clears to start the move. If you signup for the WebAzetas monthly subscription package, we do require payment via PayPal's Subscription Service.
Do you offer a money-back guarantee?
Yes, WebAzetas guarantees that your site will function at your new host the same way as it did at your previous host (providing that the new host has the required functionality to run your type of site). If for some reason you aren't satisfied with the move, let us know within 48 hours. We will point your site back to your old host and refund the service fees you have paid to us.
Do you offer support?
Yes, WebAzetas provides up to 48 hours of free support after the move to resolve any move-related issues.

ABOUT THE COMPANY
How long have you been in business?
We have been in business providing Web development services (as VelaMira, Inc. dba Data-Scribe(r)) since 2003. In that time, we've setup or moved at least a hundred Web sites.
Our parent company, VelaMira, Inc. dba Data-Scribe®, was started in 2003. In 2008, we began to notice a trend with some of our clients needing to move their sites away from certain hosts. We also noticed that many of the graphic designers we partnered with did not like having to deal with this menial task. Since they were using Drupal, Joomla!, Wordpress, or CiviCRM, most of the time they wanted to move because their current developer didn't understand those systems or they didn't have enough resources at their current host to run it properly. After moving so many sites, in 2009, WebAzetas was officially born! Our unique experience in Drupal, Joomla!, Wordpress, and CiviCRM gives us the necessary knowledge to get your Web site moved quickly without needing to re-install programs, deal with downtime, or lose files.
We are managed by the same team that manages our Web site projects. We are experts in Drupal, Joomla!, Wordpress, and CiviCRM and have years of experience as Web developers, Web designers, Web masters, and Web administrators.
Who is actually moving my site?
Your site will be moved by a member of the WebAzetas team, some of the same folks from the Data-Scribe(r) team. We're knowledgable about all the programs we've listed on this site as well as how Web hosts work.
What are your working hours?
Our sales department's regular business hours are from 8a to 5p Mountain Daylight Time Monday to Friday. We can complete moves after hours and even on weekends to minimize downtime for you.
Do you offer any other services?
We offer Drupal, Joomla!, Wordpress, and CiviCRM development through our sister sites for Web design and development services as well as Web site hosting.
What does WebAzetas mean?
Well, the Web part is obvious. :) We were inspired by our New Mexico surroundings when we came up with Azetas. It's a combination of the Spanish words for A and Z. Basically, we take care of every step along the way (from A to Z) when moving your Web site.
